In Granada (1)

sceso dal treno comincio a percorrere la banchina verso l'uscita. dove inizia l'edificio della stazione, sono cordialmente avvicinato da un agente di polizia, che mi chiede se ho dei documenti, buttando subito lì l'idea del passaporto; non so se debba far pensare che ai suoi occhi parevo fuori shengen, invero di recente il mio look è stato commentato dicendo che sembro un certo tipo di caratterista in un film di tarantino. 

non lo seguo quando entra nell'ufficio e visto che resta dentro un po' mi siedo sulla panchina con vista su binario (oh, the memories...) per aspettare e mi alzo quando torna fuori.

mi restituisce il documento (che solo di fronte alla stazione, mentre aspetto la squadra recupero, quando deciderò di scrivere il testo che avete davanti, mi ricorderò scadere l'indomani o al massimo 3 giorni dopo) e nel farlo mi chiede (in spagnolo) 'ha con sé qualcosa di compromettente, hashish, marijuana, un coltello' e una quarta cosa che non ho saputo decifrare. 

come se peraltro negli aeroporti (alla faccia di quelli che 'Foucalt è superato') non facessero già storie per un paio di bretelle...

mannaggia, sarei stato curioso di sapere cosa fosse, quella quarta ipotesi, ma non so come avrebbe reagito se gli avessi risposto, 'guardi, hashish e marijuana niente, coltello men che meno, cos'era la quarta cosa che ha detto?' e quindi non lo saprò mai.

liberdade pra dentro da cabeça

capita che di fronte a una tragedia si indica un giorno di lutto cittadino o nazionale per uno dei giorni immediatamente successivi.

capita che persone importanti per un paese ricevano i funerali di stato. in quel caso può capitare che il lutto nazionale coincida.

succede che in sud africa non sanno ancora quando si terranno i funerali per il padre della pacificazione, ma intanto hanno abbassato le bandiere a mezz'asta, e le tengono giù fino a quando quella cerimonia non sarà fatta e finita.






a guardarla da una certa inclinazione l'etica è anche una questione di stile.

...insensato ch'io dedichi tutto questo tempo a un partito che non ho mai votato e mai voterò. però...

allora: ieri sera ho guardato l'esibizione di renzi da fazio e l'ho trovata galvanizzante e terrificante allo stesso tempo. il tizio è veramente bravo, riesce perfettamente a farsi passare come una persona ragionevole, quasi simpatico; il classico personaggio cui al bar offriresti una birra (però piccola, una media non è così facile meritarsela) o a cui la vicina si fiderebbe a chiedere una commissione al supermercato se è indietro* con il ferro da stiro.

su "galvanizzante" avrete sussultato; beh, tutto sommato è come minimo dal 2001 che aspettiamo di sentir finalmente dire certe cose su D'alema&Co, e visto che da qualcuno di credibile e di sinistra non lo sentiremo mai, tocca accontentarsi.

però Robert Nesta Marley continua ad avere ragione 

you can fool some people some time, but you can't fool all the people all the time 

e seppur brevemente la maschera è caduta: per ridicolizzare i cinque stelle (troppo difficile prendere sul serio i diffusissimi sentire che il movimento chiaramente incanala?) ha detto che da sindaco "se mi dicono che c'è uno che crede alle sirene" lui manderebbe uomini in camice bianco per un trattamento sanitario obbligatorio.

EH NO, CAZZO!

il T.S.O. (misura mooolto pesante, caso ci fosse bisogno di specificarlo) è una soluzione adottata quando la persona che ne viene fatta oggetto è pericolosa per sé stessa o per gli altri. quindi,

A) non è roba su cui si dovrebbe scherzare, soprattutto nel paese che ha regalato al mondo un tale di nome Franco Basaglia

B) non sono poi così sicuro che le sirene dell'ideologia economica dominante siano meno pericolose di quelle che stanno simpatiche a Ulisse e agli altri appassionati dallo scoprire e dal conoscere. anzi, sono quasi sicuro del contrario

in conclusione, se volete bene a Nick Cave, tenetelo lontano da Firenze, ché non si sa mai.

Magari è solo perché mi ci sono imbattuto dopo aver visto per la prima volta l'imitazione che Crozza fa di Renzi, però quando ho letto l'intervista che Noel Gallagher ha rilasciato a una celebre rivista della sinistra britannica non ho potuto fare a meno, leggendo queste righe

All'opposizione il New Labour era stato fantastico. Quando Tony Blair parlava, sembrava che le sue parole arrivassero alla gente, alla gente giovane. Datemi pure dell'ingenuo ma sentivo qualcosa - non saprei dire esattamente cosa fosse, ma che lo sentivo è sicuro.

di avvertire la classica lampadina che si accende. ovviamente così come il sottoscritto il giornalista del New Statesman non avrà potuto fare a meno di pensare a quando la Strega Margareth alla domanda di quale fosse il risultato politico di cui andava più fiera rispose "Tony Blair come segretario del partito Laburista" e se non ha proseguito lungo quella direzione di intervista immaginiamo sia perché non voleva circoscrivere eccessivamente l'area del colloquio e non perché il Labour debba ancora arrivare alla consapevolezza che da quel tunnel di niente bisogna uscire. Questa intervista a un anziano uomo di partito, in merito, è incoraggiante.

Quando a una simile consapevolezza arriveranno anche Hollande&Co in Francia non ci è dato saperlo. Auguriamoci che sia presto, perché come dichiarato da Emidio Clementi dei Massimo Volume sul Mucchio Selvaggio di questo mese, qui in Italia "nella decadenza totale dell'Occidente siamo la vera avanguardia", tanto che, ribaltando i ruoli, è degno di nota come in questa critica alla deriva populista di Russel Brand come riferimento di uno dei possibili sentieri su cui potrebbe da oggi incamminarsi quel bel capellone chiassoso e sboccato venga preso Beppe Grillo.

Chapeau al Guardian, peraltro, che pur senza esplicitarlo dubito abbia scelto a caso la citazione mussoliniana, visto che "terza via" era proprio l'espressione con cui Phony Tony si riempiva la bocca sulla strada verso il numero 10 di Downing Street.

Ah, merito dell'intervista di Gallagher è anche lo sgombrare il campo dal sospetto avanzato di recente da qualcuno che dietro l'ascesa del britpop ci fossero i servizi segreti.

Se Lightning Bolt, il nuovo disco dei Pearl Jam, fosse una macchinina di quelle con cui si gioca da piccoli, si potrebbero dire 2 cose:

1) probabilmente avrebbe uno sportello che manca, uno dei due posteriori o quello del bagagliaio. perché quando finisce resti lì a pensare che avresti voglia di ancora una canzoncina e mezzo. cosa che con il precedente, che dura 11 minuti di meno, a tutt'oggi non mi è ancora successa.

2) i pezzi del telaio non sarebbero tutti dello stesso colore, con quell'effetto vagamente arlecchinesco che hanno le automobili in cui si è giustamente dato la precedenza al risparmio pescando il ricambio dallo sfasciacarrozze invece che sottostare alla dittatura del monocolore.

parcheggiata la metafora iniziale, quanto al punto 1 può darsi sia perché Backspacer viene detto come il loro disco più ottimista e in pace con sé stesso, quindi non dovrebbe sorprendere che io mi ci ritrovi poco; mentre per il punto 2 ben vengano le palle lanciate a effetto invece che solo lungo una linea dritta, visto che son quasi vent'anni che questi signori di tanto in tanto espandono la mia comprensione su come si può cucinare un bel ritmo.

i ruggiti ci sono, ma non è un disco in cui ci si batte il petto. insomma, direi spavalderia zero. che sia per questo che da più parti lo accusano di essere un disco moscio? a questi signori la vita ha insegnato a scrivere canzoni che confortano, non riesco a trovarci niente di sbagliato.

Out On The Weekend

ci sarebbe da dire persino sulla mise* tutta in nero (compreso cappello a tesa larga) e più in generale anche da commentare sull'emozione di scoprire infine che faccia hanno i leggendari Crazy Horse, ma se imboccassi quel sentiero mi perderei strada facendo.

dico solo allora che malgrado lo status mitico Neil Young deve essere proprio un timidone, prova ne sia che le prime parole (un "Thank You, Folks" che potrebbe bastare da solo per un post intero) rivolte alla piazza sono arrivate dopo cinquanta minuti di un concerto che ha mostrato un lato non so quanto commentato dell'attitudine psichedelica:

le gambe e la schiena sentivano tutte le due ore e un quarto di concerto, mentre cuore e testa, visto quanto i brani dilatati sembrassero durare non molto più di una normale canzone, avrebbero giurato che nel complesso il set fosse di circa un'ora e mezzo.

sgombriamo il campo da ogni possibile critica, malgrado non abbia fatto nessuna delle canzoni che, prima di arrivare, avrei potuto indicare come desiderata res, ho vibrato su quell'onda per più delle ventiquattr'ore successive, e chissà quanto sarebbe durata se la solita vita non si fosse messa in mezzo.

la botta, gigantesca, è arrivata nei saluti pre-ultimo brano quando lo sforamento** sul coprifuoco imposto dal luogo pubblico era già palese:

"grazie per essere venuti stasera. spero di rivedervi quando torneremo, ma visto che non sono sicuro che riusciremo a tornare, o che ci saremo tutti la prossima volta***, volevo cogliere questa occasione per ringraziarvi sul serio".

e già lì, aiuto, brividi!

ma poi ha proseguito:

"so che alcuni di voi probabilmente per venire qui stasera hanno lasciato a casa i loro bambini. spero che quei bambini stiano dormendo sereni"

per chiudere con un augurio (forse ovvio per alcuni ma che sicuramente non suonava come di circostanza) sul fatto che quando quei bambini "avranno la nostra età" il mondo che nel frattempo saremo arrivati a costruire sia migliore di questo.

segno della sua incredibile grandezza è che quel mondo migliore non solo è riuscito a farlo sembrare credibile, ma anche quasi possibile persino a uno come me.

ché poi... 

Lo sanno tutti che qui non si arriva da nessuna parte.

*confesso che ho pensato a questo film ma probabilmente (o almeno così credo) più per mie personali proiezioni di ricordi lontani che non reale sintonia.

**multeranno anche lui come Springsteen a Milano anni fa, o a Lucca sanno essere un poco comprensivi di fronte alle esigenze di forza maggiore dell'arte?.
